After hanging out with some friends I headed out into the blizzard like condition streets of Manhattan. I felt like a magic animal noiselessly gliding above the streets in my waterproof boots. There were people and cars, but the city had the ebb and flow pace of a utopia. After snapping some pictures I headed home. As I got out of the subway Chromeo came on while listening to shuffle. I danced down the peaceful streets like a child in the tides of the ocean. I have to say it was quite euphoric exploring fresh tracks in an urban grid, the best of both worlds. No post shoot manipulation on the photos.

Starting out into the night as a light approaches surprisingly from the right.

Getting a feel for the density of the pixels falling from the sky. It was actually an ocean of ice butterflies.

Purple Rain, Purple Rain and an awning fit for a prince from 1532.

This place appears to be closed, but textures, distortion, and obscured text makes it a prime setting for a stage.

Yes.

Color shift from the electric light reflecting off of the snow. Any idea what that round lump is?

An escape of four choices.

The squirrels were dancing in my feet.

Hard as…

The warm glow of a commercial edifice.

((Parallel)) Footprints in the sands of time…

Why not, here’s to you Monet!

1/3 of a snowperson, I like math.

You seem to be lost fella. Oh wait, you’re just melting in the expansion. That makes two of us.

Can you tell me where the MET is?

Back home.
These are lovely. I especially like the delicate “tree” branches (wires) with snow.
Thanks Jake, keep on creating.
